Εν μέσω υψηλής αβεβαιότητας για την παγκόσμια οικονομία, το Διεθνές Νομσιματικό Ταμείο αναθεωρεί -επί τα βελτίω- την πρόβλεψή του για την ανάπτυξη της ελληνικής οικονομίας για φέτος, ενώ αντίθετα, «ανεβάζει» τον πήχη του φετινού πληθωρισμού, αλλά και του ελλείμματος στο ισοζύγιο τρεχουσών συναλλαγών.

Ειδικότερα

στην έκθεσή του Ταμείου που δημοσιοποιήθηκε σήμερα, ενόψει της εαρινής Συνόδου με την Παγκόσμια Τράπεζα, προβλέπεται ότι η άνοδος του ελληνικού ΑΕΠ για το 2023 θα φτάσει το 2,6% από 5,9% το 2022. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η προηγούμενη πρόβλεψη του Ταμείου (Οκτώβριος 2022) έκανε λόγο για 5,2% για πέρυσι και 1,8% για φέτος, ενώ η κυβέρνηση έχει «ανεβάσει» την πρόβλεψή της στο 2,3% για φέτος από 1,8% στον προϋπολογισμό. Συνεπώς, το Ταμείο «βλέπει» μεγαλύτερη άνοδο του ελληνικού ΑΕΠ σε σχέση με την κυβέρνηση. Παράλληλα, στη σημερινή έκθεσή του, το ΔΝΤ προβλέπει μικρή αποκλιμάκωση της αύξησης του ΑΕΠ το 2024 στο 1,5%.
